苏仙岭风景名胜区位于湖南郴州市城东，距市中心1.5公里，占地面积275.1公顷，主峰海拔526米,境内山势秀丽,万木葱茏,自古享有"天下第十八福地"、“湘南胜地”的美誉。1987年被列入湖南省首批风景名胜区。2002年被评为国家AAAA级旅游区。苏仙岭因美丽、神奇的苏仙传说而驰名海内外，岭上有白鹿洞、升仙石、望母松等“仙”迹，自然山水风光久负盛名。由秦少游作词、苏东坡作跋、米芾书写的《踏莎行·郴州施舍》被刻至苏仙岭的岩壁上，史称“三绝碑”。西安事变后，张学良将军曾被幽禁于此，写下了“恨天低，大鹏有翅愁难展”的名句。近几年来，苏仙岭风景区兴建了高空索道、游乐园、万福山、万福泉、森林客栈等配套设施和景点，并不断完善内部管理，提高服务水平，以崭新的姿态迎接天下客。
 Suxian
Hill Landscapes and Tourist Attractions Area is
Iocated in the eastern part of Chen zhou City,Hunan
Province,a distance of 1.5 km from the city center.The
area covers 275.1 hectares.The master hill stands
526 meters above the sea level.With Picturesque
hills and dense woods,the area has ahd the name
of"the 18th fortunate place on the eath"and
"Hun-an attraction"since ancient times,In
1987 it was listed among the first scenic spots
and t-ourist attractions in Hunan Province.It was
Listed among Nationnal AAAA Tourist Attrcation in
2002.Suxian Hill has been known to the whole world
for its beautiful and mysterious leg-end of Suxian
the immortal.It boasts a number of traces of the
immortal.such as the White Deer Cave,Immortal Stone
and Walting-for-mother pinetree.The natural Landscapes
have been well known since ancient times. Tashaxing;Chenzhou
Inn,by Qin shaoyou with postscript by Su Dongpo
and written by Mi Fu was carved on the wall of a
rock in Suxian Hill,which was named as Famous inscriptions
in history.After Xi'an Coup,General Zhang Xueliang
was imprisoned here,where he wrote down the poem
saying"I hate the low sky where rocs having
big wings cannot fly high".In recent years
,ropeway,amusement park,A lucky Hill,A lucky conduit,Forest
Inn and other facilities have been built in Suxian
Hill Landscapes & Tourist Attractions Area.Internal
management has also been enhanced continuously so
that service can be improved to offer to tourists
from other parts of the world. |

 苏仙观
“山不在高有仙则名，水不在深有龙则灵”，苏仙岭因苏仙而得名。苏仙观座落于苏仙岭山顶，始建于西汉，整体建筑遵循道教建观的风格，为纪念苏仙而建造。苏仙观自古以来香火鼎盛、历久不衰，每年吸引着许多善男信女前来顶礼膜拜，祈祷保佑平安。
Suxian Temple
It matters not whether a mountain is tall or
low,its fame will spread far and wide as long
as there is an immortal dwelling on it. As for
water,it can be famous for a d-ragon living in
it instead of its depth.Suxian Hill is named for
a legendary immortal,Sudan.In the memory of Sudan,Suxi-an
Temple was built at the top of Suxian Hill in
Western Han Dynasty. Its whole construction keeps
to the style of Taoi-st temples.Every year,a large
number of worshippers are attracted to pray for
happiness here.
景星观
 景星观座落于苏仙岭半山腰，又名云中观，始建于唐朝，为唐代道士廖正法修炼之处。唐朝大诗人韩愈游历于此，并为道士廖正法写下书序。
Jingxing Temple
It's also named as "the temple in cloud",which
is Located at the halfway up to Suxian Hill.It
was built in Tang Dynasty,where Liao Zhengfa,a
Taoist priest,went into religious self-discipline.Han
Yu,a famous poem in Tang Dynasty,wrote a preface
for the priest's wo-rk while visiting here.

万福山
苏仙岭自古享有“天下第十八福地”之美誉。山顶石壁有“寿山”大字石刻，山下造石成山，其上有许多“福”字，其字体都出自唐太宗以来十八代名君之手。题名“万福山”，暗寓苏仙岭即为“福地”也，传说从此经过，摸一摸“福”字，数一数“福”字，则会鸿福齐天。 |

传说吕洞宾游苏仙岭，因惩恶扬善，踢脚盆下山在此形成。 |

白鹿洞
原名桃花洞，苏仙的出生地，白鹿仙鹤哺乳苏仙，为苏仙御寒的故事就发生于此。
